We’ve just released our Fall 2018 video project which we shot all around the SJSU campus! The routine was choreographed by our team captains Zaida Aleman & Shakun Jain to Celia Cruz’s classic salsa song, “Bambarakatunga”. Check it out!
We had a great time this past weekend shooting a video of our new routine around the SJSU campus! We’ll be releasing the video the video this upcoming Thursday, so stay tuned here and on social media. In the meantime, here are some photos from the shoot:
We had an amazing time performing at the 2018 San Francisco Salsa Bachata Kizomba Congress this past weekend! We were the largest team to perform the event, and we filled the stage with Blue & Gold! Thanks to everyone who has supported us this semester, and to our team captains Zaida Aleman and Shakun Jain for choreographing this amazing routine!

Thanks to everyone who came out to our debut last night at Flames! It was great to finally show off the routine we have been working on for the past few months! We’re excited to perform the routine again this weekend at the SFSBK Congress!
Thanks to everyone who came out and supported us yesterday at our Flames fundraiser! We were able to raise over $400 for the team which will go towards the team’s travel expenses. Thank you to everyone who attended!
Come out to Flames Eatery & Bar this Tuesday and support Spartan Mambo! We will be hosting a fundraiser at Flames, where we will be receiving proceeds from anyone that dines at the restaurant to support the team, as well as anyone that attends the salsa social (it’s just $10 to attend).
We will be teaching a beginner and intermediate salsa lesson, and we also have two special shows planned, so please come out and show your support! You can find full event details on the Facebook event.
We had a great time performing at SJSU’s 2018 Fire on the Fountain event last night! It was a blast sharing the stage with other great performers from student groups around campus– the stage was literally on fire! Thanks to everyone who came out to support us!

We will be hosting a welcome week this semester on Tuesday, September 4th and Thursday, September 6th where you can meet the team, learn the basics of salsa, and get feel for what the team is like. We will be holding auditions that Saturday, September 8th in the Event Center.
